We are proud to share the success story of Ms. Lasang Dolma Tamang, who has been selected as an international air hostess with IndiGo Airlines.
Ms. Lasang Dolma Tamang is from Peshok and completed her studies in Kalimpong. With a strong dream of working in the aviation industry, she joined Glorious Institute of Hospitality Management (IHM) to receive professional training and guidance.
Before joining Glorious IHM, she had attempted airline interviews but was unable to clear the selection process. At Glorious IHM, she clearly understood the gaps in skills, communication, grooming, and interview techniques. Through structured training, mock interviews, personality development sessions, and continuous mentoring, she gained confidence and improved her overall performance.
With dedication and the right training, she successfully cracked the airline selection process and achieved her goal.

SUCCESS STORY OF GLORIOUS IHM STUDENT : MISS BAHNU DARNAL
Miss Bahnu Darnal, age 32, used to work in a small restaurant as an assistant near the Glorious Institute of Hospitality Management for the last 9 years with a small salary. She was not satisfied with her growth. Every time, she used to make quarries about Glorious IHM and its courses with other students. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, she lost her jobs, and the small restaurant could not survive because of COVID-19.
She was worried for her survival and started to search for a job, but all the restaurants and hotels asked her for the professional certificate of hotel management. She was rejected from every door. She then knocked on the door of Glorious Ihm and joined for the course. She was given a wonderful platform by the institute; with the help of the institute, she could take part in the Master Chef Competition at Sikkim . She stood first in the semi-final and was the runner-up in the final. She was honored with the title “THE CHEF” by the chef organization. However, she completed her training from Taj Chai Kutri (Taj Group), and later on she worked in Fern Denzong and Ramada (International Property) in Sikkim.
Now, she is happy with her career and she said, “ Every Sunday when I go to church, I always pray for the Glorious Ihm , because it was the Glorious institute and all the teachers were the ones who hold my hand and gave me new life and the career…”
SUCCESS STORY OF GLORIOUS IHM STUDENT : MISS MANJALI RAI
Miss Manjali Rai, age 20 years, from Dhudhia, Kurseong. She is from a tea garden. She did her schooling at Pankhabari Higher Secondary School. She was motivated when the Glorious Ihm team went for the career counseling session at her school.
After she joined the institute, she got an opportunity to do her industrial training at Mayfair Resort, Darjeeling, and finally she got placement at The Oberoi Amarvillas, Agra. She said, “Glorious Ihm always works for the betterment of students’ careers; they never look for their profit. Thus, I suggest aspirants for hotel industries can have faith and join Glorious Ihm, Kurseong.
